We ate as a group of 10 and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Ten different dishes and no one had any complaints at all. Staff were efficient and friendly. We'll eat there again.

As locals, we only resort to Ho's Palace very occasionally, usually when the kids don't feel like Thai. I always wonder why we waste our money, but last night's meal was the worst in 16 years. We ordered spring rolls, Boneless Lemon Chicken, Sate Beef and fried rice. They actually used to do a really good Boneless Lemon Chicken, but... More

Very respectable Cantonese - servings were ample, very tasty, all up a pretty low risk option if you feel like some Cantonese and you happen to be in Blackheath.

As a local to Blackheath, I have heard all the jokes and rumours about Ho's Palace. Hate to think it's just sheer prejudice but I have to say that all of those people who are making the jokes and jibes should get themselves along here and actually try it out. Ho's Palace celebrates 30 years of operating in Blackheath this... More

Too many locals have advised against this place. I would like some evidence to prove them wrong. Desperate to have a good Chinese restaurant in Blackheath....any help and hope out there?

Waitress was lovely. We loved the decor very genuine 'oldschool' decor that reminded me of my childhood... but the food was pretty gross to be honest. Salty covered in sauce. Felt sick after...😑

I am pretty surprised how Ho's stays open. It is regularly empty and the food is pretty ordinary. I have had combo fried rice on each occasion with the request for no prawns - and on 4 occasions i have found a heap of prawns. The lemon chicken and Beef Satay are as you would expect - gualo to the... More

The food is neither bad or great. I wasn't wowed or disappointed. Ho's was just a bit ho hum. Probably perfect for a takeaway special fried rice and the obligatory bag of prawn crackers.

Dined here with a few friends over the snowy weekend. The waitress seemed tried and stressed but she did a great job taking care of us. The food was average, probably wouldn't eat here again.
