Food was good.

The food was quite good but it came about 2 minutes after our entrée was served so felt a bit rushed. Enjoyed the meal.

We ordered 2 entrees and 2 mains. The waitress then proceeded to tell us that the ‘order was put through wrong’ and both our entrees and mains were ready at the same time. I replied that we want to finish our entrees first before the main course is served and we do not want them served together as the mains... More

This pub has been around since 1832. It's a local favourite and I like it because of the local atmosphere. The food is usual pub food and it's good. The beer is nice and the atmosphere at the bar is what makes The Gardiners so special. I like to call in and catch up with friends. There's plenty of trendy... More

We ate dinner twice at this establishment while we were staying in the Blue Mountains. Both meals were fantastic - very tasty and good portions. Nice pub atmosphere and, of course, in a great location in the Blue Mountains.

After a drink in the beer garden, we decided to stop for food. Result was good quality pub food, with great sized portions. Would happily return.

Three of us had the schnapper which was superb. One had the roast which I must come back for another night. Just need to get rid of the locals once their behaviour becomes completely obscene.

Called in for a drink and a bite to eat for the first time and was very impressed. I had the Nicosia salad and it was so fresh and tasty. I was not expecting much, though it exceeded my expectations unlike many hotels in the Upper Mountains. Service was absolutely fantastic. I can't fault it at all. I will definitely... More

Big open eating area that dates back in style to some earlier age, but the choices are wide ranging and the food is better than average pub fare. Been here a few times with friends who are visiting the Blue ountians and the staff have always been good - friendly, and helpful.

Old, historic pub (apparently Sir Joseph Banks stayed here on his first journey to Australia logging plant & animal species in the 1830s) offering a good range of typical pub food. While the eating areas lack atmosphere the food & service were good. The beef burger & the chicken Parma were both quite tasty & other meals we saw like... More

As we were not very hungry we looked at the two pubs and desided at this one as we both loved the variety on the menu. I chose a very nice smoked salmon ceasar salad , while my husband has a staik . We just had a beer each, The male staff very very helpfull and pleasant with nice manners... More
