August mornings are very cold in Blackheath but the temperature inside was warm and inviting. We were there mid morning for a late breakfast/brunch and the place was jumping. Only one girl was looking after all tables yet there was no undue waiting and she did her job very efficiently and in a friendly country style

Today enjoyed simple lunch in the cafe, salt and pepper squid for me and chicken pot pie for my dining companion. Service efficient and very pleasant coffee follow the meal very nice. Yet to try the flourless quince and hazelnut cake we grabbed to take his home for morning tea tomorrow. Simple but nice!

Food was tasty. Coffee was excellent. Hassle free gluten free options which they tailored for our kids.

I've been coming here for years . It's always well patronised. Little wonder. It isn't trendy, but has good wholesome food, friendly staff and well situated in Blackheath. Great for larger groups, families and couples. Good value for money

Went daily over the week and had good coffee. Best was piccolos. Service was mostly prompt, particularly when sitting outside. Waitstaff do get overrun with customers and can be a bit impersonal and terse.

We had the most amazing breakfast here. The service is fantastic and so is the food. The size of breakfast is great and very filling. Will definitely be going back on our next trip to Blackheath.

I have eaten at the Victory Cafe many times and always had an enjoyable meal,it is a popular eatery for locals and visitors, if you can get a table outside in the sun, its a great place for a long brunch. Coffee is good and they have a nice variety of dishes to choose from. ( They do not split... More

We visited The Victory on the first big wet weekend in winter. We were craving hearty warm food and a dry place- we got both. The service was polite and friendly but not well trained. Tis true that you visit this old lady to bathe in her fading glamour, however it would be nice if some thought had been given... More

We visited Blackheath and were looking to have lunch. We decided on the Victory cafe, the staff were very friendly and the menu offered some very tempting meals. We both had a beautiful lunch (main meal) which was quite large, we both had a drink for a total of under $45. Definitely returning sometime soon.
