We stayed at Cedar Lodge Cabins and had to find some breakfast on Saturday morning at like 7.30 because of the crazy kids waking us up. Couldn't of found a better spot. 100% Recommend.

We went for breakfast and we were very impressed with what we received. When I go out for breakfast I alway treat myself to a big breakfast. Here at the Wattle Cafe, it is called the "Farmyard Breakfast" and it is $21. It was awesome. Everything was cooked exactly how I like it. Poached eggs were perfect - Runny (but... More

What an experience.....had a look at the menu, knew what we wanted within 2 minutes...5 mins later a young girl gave us another menu and we said we didn't need it we already knew what we wanted...she said "I'll come back soon" 10 minutes later and she is still having a social chat with other staff....walked out and went to... Steak sandwich and chicken pie were good although pie was mostly mushrooms with little chicken spotted. Chips were amazing. Nice cosy atmosphere but at the expensive end for a cafe lunch, especially given regional location.

Stopped off at Blackheath prior to arriving in Medlow Bath. My husband and I both had a toasted sandwich with coffee. A neat coffee shop. The tables not too cramped. The food was average and the coffee acceptable although not really warm enough. The staff were not overly friendly. All in all pretty average

This café is always worth a visit. The coffee is good as is the food, and the prices are reasonable. The central location is great. It's always a good place to go and get out of the cold.

4 of us went there on a wet and windy morning. We entered a warm and inviting little cafe with an equally warm menu. 2 of us had the chicken and mushroom pie with the others having the soup of the day. The food came out quicker than I would have thought given that the restaurant was full. A great... More

Nice and warm with the fire going on a cold (B)lackheat(h) morning. The food was nice enough and the serving size was good for the price. The milkshake could have used a bit more flavor though.

Busy little cafe. I had an excellent onion tart with feta cheese. Pot pie was fine. The coffee was however undrinkable. There was an extensive menu and the service was good as it was very busy.

I have been to the Wattle Cafe many times and it is my favourite lunch place in Blackheath. The goat's cheese tart is my absolute favourite, but there are a number of dishes that are a close second. One of the best things about the menu is there is a variety of vegetarian options (as well as meat options) and... More
