Five local people booked for Monday lunch. One of the meals arrived at the table COLD - clearly evidence that some meals are plated earlier in the day and heated when ordered. Even if this is acceptable practice in the trade it should not have...More

This was my first time at the Welldiggers but it will not be my last. The service atmosphere and food were excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone to visit you will not be disappointed.

The only thing that disappointed me about this place was reading the penultimate review before mine. The place, the staff, the ambience and the food were A1 with a capital A. How silly that a word like plummeted could be chosen and potentially could be...More

There is an annexe which is all one level so perhaps request a room there. Also, we had a room at the back which overlooked the fields - Lovely!
