I grew up in the 1980s a very short walk from the Bull, and, back then, it wasn't exactly the place to be for a teenager (I mean young adult.) However- after being away for 30 years- and returning with perhaps more sophisticated tastes than...More
Returned for family Sunday lunch at the Bull. Such a fabulous welcome, friendly staff and Inn owner, Stan . Food brilliant, hot, tasty and really home from home cooking. Dogs welcome too which is great. A thoroughly enjoyable time was had again by all and...More
We stopped off for an evening meal on the way home from work. This is a local traditional pub that is the heart of the village. As ‘strangers’ we felt welcome, food was excellent and staff we attentive. Food is traditional pub food, can recommend...More
This was an improvised family visit to this nearby pub, where all six of us left feeling very satisfied! Every dish was well cooked and delicious; certainly credit to the chef. So often pub favourites are a disappointment, but not here. The fish was beautifully...More

Seven of us visited The Bull today (Sunday) for a birthday lunch - we all had the roast dinners which were absolutely fantastic. Everything was home cooked and delicious, we just couldn't fault a thing. The Bull Inn is full of olde worlde charm, plenty...More
With short notice this establishment created a lovely dining experience on a busy Saturday evening. The menu choice had something to suit everyone, we were served quickly and efficiently with friendly service throughout. We will certainly return if in the area again.

Hello Lindsey. We do have an outdoor courtyard but unfortunately it's not very child friendly at the moment. We have just applied for planning permission though to improve this area and should all plans be approved have a fabulous courtyard with grass and decked areas as well as a designated children's play area with soft bark chippings. Unfortunately, these improvements aren't likely to be made until the end of May so hope you keep us in mind for then. We will post some updates on our website and on our facebook page as things progress.
