Called in on a recommendation and they were having a ‘rail ale train festival’, which was based on beers from breweries on certain railway lines. What a great idea!

What a great venue.. never lets us down & what an array of simply brilliant real ales available. The service is always friendly & knowledable & the beers are always top drawer.. we wished we lived closer !!
Great atmosphere, great beers and spirit selection, the food is fantastic. There are plenty of cosy little places to meet up with people and be private on the other hand it’s a fantastic place to be in a big crowd for the rugby internationals. Service...More
We went along to the Beerexit Belgian meal night and it was wonderful.
Great staff, lovely service, a wonderful choice of European beers ... and delicious food.
Lots of Mussels as a starter, Belgian Meatballs (that I'd never had before !!) and a BIG Chocolate...More
The pub has a wide variety of beers on draft. The crowd was a real mix of ages but there was more of a trend towards older rather than younger people. There was a live band and smoking garden. Atmosphere was really good.
