One of the best pubs in Nuneaton to go for a drink. Aesthetically pleasing inside. Nice atmosphere and an older crowd. Food has never been good here, so would not recommend this as a place to dine.

Stopped off here for a quick lunch with my family. And we were very pleased with every aspect of the visit. Very friendly and happy staff (which is quite rare these days). The food is of the same quality very well presented and priced. The decor reminded us of a bistro in the Mediterranean somewhere. Good ambiance and ideal for... More

Had lunch last Saturday, the staff were amazing as was the food, lovely young man served us at the cash desk and told us about his trip to Aviemore when he realised we were Scottish.

In passing, dropped in to this busy bistro for lunch. There's a reasonably priced lunchtime menu and a 'specials' selection to choose from. There's nothing fancy about the food or the way its present but the Jailhouse fed and watered us well enough for us to certainly visit again.

It is some years since I have dined in this establishment but I have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and there is a pleasant ambience about the place. I opted for spaghetti bolognaise served with garlic bread and a small salad that was delicious and as good as any Italian restaurant at a fraction of... More

Food is expensive almost 6.00 for a prawn sandwich on sliced cheap bread, soggy prawns, Luke warm frozen chips about six in total so why bother and old fashioned side salad. It would be better to have fresh local bread, decent quality ingredients, no chips at all and nice mixed salad. You leave reeking of chip fat. The staff are... More

I did not even get as far as the door of this establishment. The smell of stale cooking oil outside was enough to make me turn heel and walk away.
