Me and partner often go to the mill house on a saturday. we just chill out with a bottle of wine.. the place is nice and relaxing. only thing we have found is the drinks are pricey. Purchased a bottle of pinot and thougt £18 was a bit over the top when we can go to another pub down the... More

Arrived at 6.50 for a 7pm bookong. We were left waiting for any acknowledgment for 5 minutes before being instructed where to sit. We waited until 7.15 to get our drinks order. After watching other people being offered drinks who had arrived after us. (By the waiter who was crudely chewing on his chewing gum like his life depended on... More

When we first arrived service was excellent but went down hill after we received our food. Burger was very tough and had no seasoning, flavourless. No one asked How our meals were and more or less avoided our table, didn't clear plates or offer desserts, ended up going to bar to pay. Won't be going back in a hurry, sorry.

I have been dropping into this place for years and on the plus side it's welcoming and cosy with a vintage decor, champagne bottles, curios, fairy lights etc. The staff are very good too, albeit they always appear to be catching up? (Not their fault) and maybe that's an issue as they have diversifide over the last few years to... More

I used to go to this pub occasionally for a sunday lunch and had very good memories. I returned after few years just a couple of weekends ago. Location is nice, near a pretty lake / pond, horses etc... Parking space is limited and with being Sunday during my last visit there were many cars parked in a random way... More

My wife and I now regularly visit the Mill House, particularly as they allow dogs in the lounge area, even providing a bowl of water. We often have the day time menu which runs up to 6.30 p.m. and consists of a starter and main, with a glass of house wine of draft soft-drink for £9.95. The menu changes regularly,... More

We often visit the mill house for a few drinks & tapas. They do a great deal on the Tapas 3 dishes for £5 I think it usually is. Nice cosy area to sit and have a drink. Last time we were in we went through to the new area where they serve the cocktails, we ordered 2 mojito as... More

For my 60th birthday my wife and I decided to have a family dinner at the Mill House - a pub we use quite regularly. As there were going to be about 12 people, they asked us to pre-select from the menu, to help with ensuring availability and efficiency. For a Monday night the restaurant was surprisingly busy and with... More
