Brought my son out for some fresh air this Sunday, and he decided he was hungry! Came into Frydays for some food, & the waiter was friendly and talkative. Even took an interest in talking to my son!! Food was lovely and fresh! And the chef was lovely as well! X

It's 2 years since we last visited and the food is still lovely...the service was 1st class and we began to feel very special with all the attention we were getting...the quality of the food (incl Ringtons tea) and the prices mean that it's a no brainer as to whether we go back again. The staff were super friendly and... More

Dropped into the fish restaurant as we was hungry & the smell in the street was mouth watering. Had cod, chips, mushy peas bread & butter, also ordered 2 lattes. These arrived in a proper latte cup with a small packet of biscuits in the saucer. When the meal arrived we was asked if we would like tartare sauce which... More

Food First Rate. We ordered the luxury cod and the scampi. The scampi was delicious, very tasty, and both were served with mushy peas, bread and butter and a... More

No, pie on a plate, and it was excellent. My wife and I visited Frydays yesterday for lunch, and the food was excellent as always. We both had mined pie and chips with mushy peas, with tea. Okay; let's start with the service. The table attention was just right - one or two quick visits by the staff member who... More

My wife and I decided to give this place a try for lunch and we weren't disappointed. We both decided on luxury fish and chips. Two gigantic cod were served with tartar sauce, bread and butter and two cups of percolated coffee all for just over £15. They were delicious and the service was very good. I would certainly recommend... More

If you want cleanliness, a friendly smile, a huge cod, great chips, at a reasonable price this is the place for you. Cod chips, tea bread and butter and mushy peas cost £6. 99.
