We visited the restaurant on Friday evening without a booking, the place was buzzing we thought we won't be able to get a table but the owner found a spot for us and squeezed us in, he literally made us feel like home, all staff was very welcoming and warm. The food was just amazing and full of flavours, the portions are generous too, definitely worth every single penny. The variety of dishes is superb, everyone will find something for themselves. Definitely highly recommended. Thanks to all Gurkha kitchen team, front and back, for making our evening so special, we will definitely be back!

Really lovely food and friendly staff. The waiter came over with a surprise birthday ice cream for my friend and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday! Lovely evening would recommend!

This was our first time trying Gurkha Kitchen, the food was lovely and really enjoyable. The only thing that bothered us was the older man working there, the two younger men were really nice and attentive. The older man was sitting on a table next to us on his phone for most of our visit ( we were there for around a 1.5 hours) and was just sort of watching us eat which was quite uncomfortable. He took our order and came across quite condescending and rude and made the environment suddenly feel very hostile. As our food arrived my partner asked what beers they had to offer as our menus had been taken at this point, bearing in mind we already had two gin and tonics on our table the man says very sternly “ID”. Coming from a hospitality supervisor role myself, the manner he spoke to us in and service he provided was just not friendly at all and made us feel unwelcome. It’s a shame because the food was great and the two younger servers were honestly really nice, but I personally don’t want to go back due to this.

My friends and I visited recently and were very impressed with the food. We all ordered various curries, including veg dhansak, & paneer curry. We also ordered sides, bread, rice and starters and it was absolutely delicious. I honestly couldn’t fault the food. The service was also excellent, friendly staff and quick service, we didn’t wait long at all for anything we ordered. Very impressed, highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit.

Beyond all expectations! Truly. Outstanding! The food was absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted extremely fresh and the service was exceptional. Aryan ensured we had everything we needed at any moment and we are most grateful. We highly recommend spending an afternoon or evening at the New Gurkha Kitchen on the beautiful Reigate High Street.

My first time with my daughter, who had been once before. We went for the Sunday lunchtime menu for £10.95 which is such good value. There was plenty of choice, with you having a starter, a main and then ice cream or tea or coffee. I had onion pakora as a starter and mayalu lamb, with a choice of naan or rice. Both were delicious. I will return.

Another fab experience at Gurkha Kitchen. Whenever I ask my children which restaurant they’d like to go to, without hesitation it’s always “Gurkha Kitchen!”. The staff are more like friends now that we’ve been so many times and the chef is always happy to alter any dish to suit the children’s tastes . Every now and then things don’t go to plan but as soon as you mention it the staff go out of their way to put it right. All folks can make mistakes, it’s how they deal with it that makes a difference! Thank you to Ram and his team, we will see you again very soon!

We booked on Tuesday for 2 people under natalie which you clearly didn’t have ready. Told to wait at at the bar which was a bit uncomfortable as we did book. No apology whatsoever. Had our food pickles at the end of the bill??? Apparently unless you eat a poppadom dry your paying extra for the dishes ie mint sauce, onion, chutney they are pickles 🤣 and to top it off on paying we wanted to pay half each waitress thought she would round it up to the pound on each of us. Luckily we called her out on it as service charge was already included.
Would I return again no just because the way we were treated. Food wise amazing well done to the chef

Wonderful restaurant, the staff is very nice and polite. The food is fantastic, very tasty, we tried several types, everything was very delicious and the service was also perfect. We had a wonderful evening there, thank you very much. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

I went yesterday lunch time to the Gurkha kitchen with 8 off my family. The tables had limning table cloths and napkins and good quality knives and forks. The waiters where all friendly and attentive .We had the lunch time menu which was very good value and we all thought it was tasty and a taste of real Nepalese cooking .We will defiantly be going back

I recently ate here with my daughter for a little Birthday celebration lunch. Aryan left us in peace to choose our food and was very attentive when we needed him. Aryan is very pleasant, polite and extremely good at explaining the menu. The food we had was exceptional, came out hot, as described, well presented and very tasty. Altogether a lovely experience! This place was great and had amazing food .
So delicious , staff were friendly and very accommodating.
They even go over and beyond for making dishes not in the menu for one of our friends request.
Portions were good size and attractive servings .
Really enjoyed and will come again

It was mine and my husband first visit here.
We were welcomed by a friendly member of staff.
It was the first time trying Nepalese and the food was so absolutely delicious.
The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble
We will definitely be returning to try more of the wonderful food on offer here.

First time trying Gurkha Kitchen in Reigate. We gave it a try last Saturday lunch time, we were not disappointed. The food, atmosphere and cleanliness was excellent.
For our lunch we had the Khurshani Chicken, I forget what my girlfriend had, but she said it was very good. Accompanied with various vegetable side dishes (chana masala, gharko daal, saag ra aloo) along with Roti bread, we don't do rice.
Every dish was cooked to perfection and we really enjoyed it all, there was none left. The service was excellent, our waiter Aryan did a great job being very attentive and making sure we had everything our drinks were never empty.
Thankyou Aryan and rest of staff at Gurkha Kitchen we will be back. *****
