It's a shame as I have ordered from these guys before. However by getting food poisoning and wasting an entire day for me from the result of the illness, I will never order or visit this place again. I don't like to give second chances...for any food places that let me down, unless mgt change. There is absolutely no excuse for failing to check the sell by dates or if the food has gone off.More

Our starters were tasty (spring rolls and aubergine satay) but the aubergine satay didn't have any satay, so that was disappointing. We ordered the panang curry and the menu did say it was very spicy. We were ok with this as we like spice, but...know panang is usually a bit hot. However, they were not over-exaggerating when they said super spicy, it was so hot I couldn't eat it. They definitely highlighted it so not a complaint, but more of a warning to others who usually have panangs and think they'll be ok. Not sure we'd be back, have had nicer Thai's in Kingston.More

This is the fourth of fifth time I’ve been to this place and there’s a reason for that. Tasty and affordable Thai food. Nice staff as well. Today for the first time I got the banana fritter dessert which was also delicious.

unpretentious, asian menu. good selection and very tasty. accompanied by a reasonable wine. The restaurant stays true to it's asian roots and doesn't serve coffee - just tea!

Had table booked and on arrival attempted to purchase a drink from the bar bur was told that because they had a minimum of £10 on a card this would have to be added to our meal.Took ages for waiters to come and take order...and even longer for the food to arrive.I'd ordered a starter lucky for me as this was the only thing I would have all night.Eventually the main courses arrived and honestly most seemed to enjoy their meal however I was served with completely the wrong dish but was told they could fix me another having waited this long and with my friends already eating I resigned myself to my Dim Sum. There were various requests from our table for water, soy sauce, wine menu all of which went unheeded and we had to go and get them ourselves. Eventually we got to the bill which was unreadable and despite the fact I sent my meal back I am still not convinced I was not charged for it as there was no means of reading the bill and no breakdown was available.More

As most Thai restaurants are usually "cosy", the Cocoanut is a good place to go if you are in a bigger group. There were nine of us and we were comfortably seated and enjoyed our starters and main meals. Plenty of choices. Rice portions are...not huge so you will need to order one per person.More

Really wanted to like this place, but starters were deadful. Place is cosy. However, Vacuum packed fish cakes and ribs clearly just microwaved and servered. Chewy, dry and horrible. Worst I've ever had in any Thai restaurant. Staff were really nice, but for some constructive...Criticism, they really need to review their food quality. Unfortunately won't be returning here.More

First off, the food is delicious and the portions are really good. I’m not usually into Thai cuisine, but the red spicy curry at Cocoanut tastes a-ma-zing. Good variety in the menu, average priced drinks, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for...friend gatherings and quick dinner.More

I’m sorry you felt the need to write this as it is not a true account of your experience. You repeatedly voiced how great the food was and the only issue you had with service was when your bill came. Seeing as your friend told...More
