Went here after being recommended by a friend. Did not like the food they had run out of certain meats and replaced it with kebab meat. Awful just an overpriced kebab shop and even certain kebab shops do better food than this place will never visit again.

Visited with family for a quick lunch, ended up having 3 courses! The food was brilliant and the service was lovely. It even got us all talking about a family holiday we took to Turkey years ago!

I've eaten in Cappadocia regularly for several years. The menu is typically Turkish just as you might find in a similar place in Istanbul. I love the freshly grilled lamb and chicken served as either a doner or shish kebab, the chicken is probably my favourite by a small margin. Service is always quick and friendly and the pricing is... Arrived without a reservation but although the restaurant was extremely busy we were able to stay. It was a bit noisy whilst it was busiest and the belly dancing was on. Food took a little time but was nice and in generous portion. There are lunch deals for ~7-9 pounds. Location is convenient for Kingston train and bus stations but... More

Friendly staff, fantastic and unfussy food and pleasant ambiance. The bread served is like heaven on earth! A lively atmosphere combined with great slightly exotic flavours.

I had a nice lunch at Cappadocia recently. Lentil soup with a nice mint flavour as a starter and for main course slow cooked Lamb stew. Both were a good size dish and good value. Service was efficient and with a smile. I may return some time when I am in the area.

I visited Cappadocia with a friend in a happy mood after seeing Bridget Jones' Baby at the Odeon, we both decided to order a lamb dish and were very disappointed with the quality of the meat and the cooking. The texture of the lamb was gritty and unpleasant and although we both left just under half of each of our... More

Cappadocia had a lively and fun atmosphere even on a Sunday evening. We started with a couple of the starters, they were pleasant. I was slightly disappointed by the hummus and was expecting more flavour. The main courses were expensive and I didn't think the portion size reflected the high price. The food we did get was ok.

We started out in Kingston in 2001 and opened our Walton restaurant in June 2014.

Our owner, executive chef, and many of our staff are Turkish and they have proudly drawn on their heritage to create a little corner of Turkey in the UK.

Our food is cooked by chefs who were brought up with traditional Turkish cooking and who have been trained to the highest standards in Istanbul.

We want you to enjoy the true taste of Turkey so the interiors of both restaurants are designed with Turkish decor. And all food is served in authentic Turkish cooking utensils such as clay pots.

According to ancient history, Cappadocia was the birthplace of St George. It means "the land of beautiful horses and was an extensive inland district of Asia Minor, which is now modern Turkey.

The first settlers built their homes into stone cliffs and burrowed their cities underground. Today tourists are drawn to Cappadocia by its unusual scenery, and of course to stay in a cave hotel.
