This isn't my usual choice for lunch in in Kingston, but feeling like a change this long established (and much expanded) location caught my eye. As others have said this is a good place to eat if you like Lamb, it's certainly heavily featured on the lunch menu. We had Biberli Ekmek similar to a light pizza with feta cheese... More

We visited for dinner on Saturday night, the staff were all great very friendly. We had wanted to try for a while after reading good reviews and were not disappointed! Hummus starter, mixed grill and halloumi salad main were all lovely. Really enjoyed our visit would recommend.

Used to be a weekly customer as the restaurant grew from a small establishment but no real variety unless you like lamb! Expensive kebabs and the customers now attached seem to be looking for fast food in large family groups with pushchairs everywhere!! This as put us off so unfortunately we no longer visit!

We had eaten here on a previous visit to the area last year. We were impressed on that occasion and were pleased to note that the high quality of the food had been maintained. The humus kavurma was a delightful starter. The humus was warm and topped with tender diced lamb. The accompanying bread was not too heavy. The fistikli... More

For a start, the place is sparkly-clean - clearly a lot of effort goes into keeping the place smart. Not having visited before, we had the set menu for £22 a head, and the portions were generous (though a little more bread with the starter wouldn't have gone amiss). The lamb was particularly delicious - very tender, with a lovely... More

Description
We started out in Kingston in 2001 and opened our Walton restaurant in June 2014.

Our owner, executive chef, and many of our staff are Turkish and they have proudly drawn on their heritage to create a little corner of Turkey in the UK.

Our food is cooked by chefs who were brought up with traditional Turkish cooking and who have been trained to the highest standards in Istanbul.

We want you to enjoy the true taste of Turkey so the interiors of both restaurants are designed with Turkish decor. And all food is served in authentic Turkish cooking utensils such as clay pots.

THE ORIGINS OF OUR NAME

According to ancient history, Cappadocia was the birthplace of St George. It means "the land of beautiful horses and was an extensive inland district of Asia Minor, which is now modern Turkey.

The first settlers built their homes into stone cliffs and burrowed their cities underground. Today tourists are drawn to Cappadocia by its unusual scenery, and of course to stay in a cave hotel.
