Couldn't fault the two evening meals breakfast that we had. Particularly enjoyed were the goats' cheese and beetroot starter, the spare ribs and the duck. No complaints about the shared dessert either.

We had the most fantastic day here celebrating our sons wedding. Initially I had reservations about the hotel venue, the price seemed to be to good to be true. I was sure that we would have to compromise on something somewhere - I couldn’t have...More

I was expecting an excellent experience based on previous reviews but I’m afraid we will not return. Firstly my colleague’s cup was dirty. When we were ordering the waiter couldn’t remember what types of tea were available and had to get the box of sachets...More

Breakfast was very good. It is self service and had the usual full English. I had at least one meal here while staying at the hotel. The food was very good, I had steak, but it was very expensive. The service was very good.

I was amazed at the positive ratings for afternoon tea at this Hotel. The staff were courteous until we had reason to complain. The selection of sandwiches were not the best, the bread tasted as if it had been sitting around awhile, not very fresh....More

We've had good meals here in the past but when we arrived this last time - with a confirmed booking - were told the restaurant was closed for a wedding. We were offered a table in a corner of a noisy bar. Completely inappropriate for...More

We visited this hotel recently for afternoon tea. We arrived after a long and stressful journey, and struggled to find a parking space (not their fault if busy). We told the receptionist we had a reservation for afternoon tea, and were surprised to find there...More

An extensive evening menu and the food was very good. Maybe a couple of £’s more than a good restaurant, but a bottle of wine at a reasonable price.

We held our wedding at Kingston Lodge 7 years ago and it is a very special place for us. So when 2 of our friends were staying for the night for work, we were very much looking forward to meeting them for dinner. What a...More
