A great village pub with an open fire and lovely garden. The Sunday roast was outstanding and the real ale spot on. The food is freshly prepared by a lady who is the co-owner and the Yorkshires were home made along with the puddings.

Can't fault this place. A rare gem and our new local. Staff very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Jill's cooking is wonderful - filling and tasty while ensuring any dietary requirements are well catered for. Looking forward to the summer and trying out the garden!

Traditional country pub with 2 acre garden. Log fire in Winter. Drinking times Mon to Thurs from 1700; Fri, Sat and Sun from 1200. Real ales and ciders, lager, gins, soft drinks and hot beverages Home cooked food using locally sourced ingredients where possible. Classic pub menu with homemade sausages, home cooked ham, fish and chips and ploughmans plus other food. Sunday Roasts a speciality. Kitchen open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunchtime and Friday and Saturday evening. Other times by prior arrangement Dogs, on leads, welcome in bar and garden. Lovely country and woodland walks nearby
