I had lunch here during a day out in Farnham. I was attracted by some favourable reviews about the quality of its beer and was not disappointed. The barman knew his stuff and poured us pints of excellently tasty local beer. The food was also excellent. If I come back to Farnham, I'd return here.

Service was prompt without being overwhelming and the staff were very friendly. I have a few dietary requirements for which they catered for sublimely and the food was wonderful at a reasonable price. A lovely evening on the whole

I love this pub and have visited several times. The staff are friendly and attentive without being pushy. Sadly my Lamb Leg Steak was extremely tough and tasteless. When I mentioned this to the waitress she dealt with it discreetly and swiftly. I was offered another meal the same (too risky) or anything else from the menu. As my husband... More

A great pub with lovely character, fantastic selection of beers and ales. The food is inexpensive and tasty, nice little section outside to sit if the sun is shining!

We have eaten here twice in the last two weeks. Food was excellent on both occasions. They were massively helpful with regards to allergies with a chart showing what has potential problem ingredients of each dish. One of our party has a severe nut allergy so this was very helpful and made the evening more enjoyable for her.

Hi London Liz, Thank you very much for leaving this review. We are a fresh food operation that produces everything on site and take our allergen responsibilities incredibly seriously. I know from personal experience how limiting it can be to not be able to have enough choice or information when visiting restaurants, on what can and cannot be ordered. We... More

We come here reasonably often - we really appreciate the food, the service and the ambience of the restaurant. It has become a favourite in Farnham, and it is one of the best we have tried in Farnham. Good selection of wines and beers, liked the Shipyard they used to have and the Shedhead currently on tap. Much of the... More

Hi Steve503820, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We changed suppliers and this made it a little bit more difficult to get hold of Shipyard, I'm really pleased that you like the new alternative Shedhead! I am a pale ale drinker myself so wanted to make sure we still offered a good choice, we also... More

We had a booking for 8 and the food was excellent. There was even a choice of starter and main for the vegan in the group. I had the chicken burger with emmental and it was yummy! The gin lemon fizz was good too on a warm summers evening.

I had the opportunity to visit a friend as I was local after a client visit. Surprisingly there was adequate parking in town and the walk was 3 minutes. The service on entry was excellent. I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in the door and served within 3 minutes. It was not busy so we were spoilt. I... More
