Second time I have eaten here and the food and service are consistently good. A little slower today than last time but still very acceptable. Food tasty and well cooked. Veg al dente which is always good. A1 visit. Very nice

We have been to this restaurant many times. We have almost always enjoyed it. 99% of the time we have a great time. Be aware that some of the pasta dishes are a little measly and the lobsters the tiny and overlooked. Fish bar, mussels and oysters are the way forward. Ps - nice Prosecco 🍾

Went for our first wedding anniversary meal at Loch Fyne in Farnham having eaten there many times before for special occasions. Since it has changed hands, the service was really slow with the kitchen calling 'service' up to five times before the waiting staff collected it. As a result, the lobster arrived cold! They replaced it but that meant my... More

I like Loch Fyne and have been here several times. I like the ethos of sustainable fresh fish. Our starters were lovely - cerviche and fresh oysters. Very good. But the mains were a train wreck. Steamed cod with steamed broccoli, Japanese rice ginger and soy. The cod was dry and boring and we had to ask for the ginger... More

We visited for lunch. We felt that the lunch menu offered a very limited/poor selection and one of the soups was not available. We therefore selected from the main and more expensive menu. We ordered bread but it failed to appear. The starters and main courses were good. The service was OK but not as good as it should have... More

I visited this restaurant while in Farnham on a Wednesday night with my husband. We were greeted warmly and the building itself is clean and very pretty. Service was quite slow, we waited about 15 minutes to even get our drinks. We had oysters to start which were delicious! My husband ordered the mixed grill for main and I ordered... More

We went as a group of five to celebrate a birthday. Staff were very nice and helpful. Food generally was very good. It was a Sunday night so it was nice and quiet. A pity about the shortages. My first choice of green beans were not available and of course these are plentiful this time of year from local farms... More

Good staff, great buzz and food that was pretty good but not brilliant. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but the pan fried bream was a bit dry, the hollandaise sauce a bit manufactured and the samphire a bit minuscule. So I'dcertain,y go again (as I have done before) but maybe they're not the best set up for a busy... More

This is a stunning restaurant. It's decor is of the highest standard and it's very clean. There's so many pictures around you that you can have a conversation on. My husband and I decided on a late breakfast and on entering, it took a while for us to be greeted. We weren't sure if they were actually open, but we... More

Since Greene King took over have found that the glorous old Loch Fyne of the past has gone down hill. Famous for its fish no more you can get better else where. Seemsthey areputting prices up withlower standard of food but offer 20/25 or even 30 percent off through e-mail i wonder why. Are they trying to turn what was... More
