Hubby and I enjoyed our relaxed Saturday brunch here. We booked solely to use up a Loch Fyne gift voucher we'd been given. After seeing the reviews regarding kitchen disasters, I was a bit nervous about what to expect! The atmosphere and decor is actually nicer than how it appears on website. Food: He enjoyed his (large) grilled Loch Fyne... More

What a wonderful meal we have just had at this restaurant! We scoped it out last week in preparation for a visit from the mother in law, and based upon that, booked a table for this week. What can I say, we were seated in the conservatory, which is a lovely little alcove at this restaurant, the sun pours in... More

The food here isn't good at all, the mackerel pate was dry and as others have pointed out the fish soup tasteless, I noticed the table next to me complaining about their food. However this is not the main reason for the review my wife's main course had a hard shard of plastic in it about 1 cm long which... More

Having been to several Loch Fynes around the country thought it would be nice to have a Birthday Supper at Farnham. We arrived early and because the table was occupied, which was fair enough, had a glass of Champagne by the Bar. We were seated in the Conservatory which was our choice. One reason for going was Lobster Thursday so... More

We quite like Loch Fyne for an occasional fishy lunch and being in Farnham today, we thought we would have lunch there. Big mistake! We were shown to a table and ordered drinks and our meal quite quickly. After ordering a Pinot Grigio Rose and an apple juice, we were told that they had no apple juice so this was... More

My wife and I took 3 of our grandchildren (all grown up) here the night before we went on holiday. A significant number of menu items were unavailable. When we eventually managed to order food that was available I guess we wished we hadn't bothered. My wifes Hake was miniscule. One of my grandsons ordered a Burger with half a... More

At £6 fir a starter portion this is a meal in itself. Order some additional bread And a black stout and you will be set up for any autumn day

Sometimes service is a little slow, longish wait for food. But in general excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. Recomnmended. Try the steak on the set lunch menu, an extra £2.00 but well worth it.

Polite , efficient waitress who was the saving grace of this dire restaurant. Starters were ok but fish soup lacked any flavour. Maincourses took forever. Salmon teriyaki was so dry with no sauce. It was sent back. Fish and chips had over cooked batter - not sure how a chef could send it out as you didn't need to be... More

Have visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. The service was good and our waitress, Sue, was very helpful and smiley which is not always the case in some places. We went on a Tuesday and it was all you could eat mussels night which we did not partake of but... More
