.....Has arrived in Croydon. What a chance discovery found by friends visiting from Battersea no less. Good, simple menu, engaging friendly staff and a relaxed child friendly atmosphere. Somewhere I would gladly hangout on any given day and relax if I didn't have a toddler in tow. Music venue out the back also to be yet expwrienced but if the... More

I recently held my 50th birthday party at Hoodoos venue in Matthews Yard. The room has a warm welcoming atmosphere and is great if you prefer a more quirky setting than say a corporate type hotel or church hall. The facilities are all you need for a wonderful night. An excellent sound system, good lighting, small stage, tasty buffet and... More

Lovely staff but very meat focused. One veggie no vegan option with no veggie specials. So many options such a lack of imagination for a place seemingly so creative and open minded.

Great little bar. Burgers are fantastic and good selection of beers too. Atmosphere is really relaxed and nice decor.

Friends and I always go for the burgers! The Rosemary fries are very nice but the beef burgers (ask for medium rare) with cheese are the best!

One of the best veggie breakfasts I have had (and I've had a few). A stack of tomato, spiked beans, mushrooms, and a veggie sausage. The edible flowers were an interesting touch. Add a seriously good mocha .. very impressed.

My Mum and I went here today as a going away lunch... I had the bacon burger and onion rings and my mum had eggs benedict. We both had some delicious pear cider which was very good value for money (£3.50 for a pint at 7.5%!) and the burger was so so delicious. Would definitely go again. Staff friendly and... More

This whole venue has so much to offer. The brunch and Hoodoos is very tasty, the coffee is great (and I love my coffee) the burgers from Brgr and Beer are exceptional. They also have live music in the little back rooms. They have life drawing sessions on some nights and gaming nights. I have a feeling that they've had... More
