We eat here 2 or 3 times a year, since 1998. Our first time here since the refurb and we were astonished by the makeover. It looks like a cafeteria at Waterloo station. Very bright and the mood is totally gone. There is no atmosphere or relaxing ambiance. You walk through a relaxing bar and chill section into a brightly... More

I enjoyed eating at the Brasserie when I visited Pennyhill Park hotel for a couple of nights last week. Whilst I stayed at Pennyhill Park I visited this restaurant 3 times so I was pleased I got to try different things from the menu as it all looked very appetising. Atmosphere- great! It had a lovely vibe and I enjoyed... More

Booked for the Sunday Jazz Lunch and was pleasantly surprised to arrive and discover that the Brasserie has had a makeover. Looks much better and it is easier to get to the food! Food, as always, was good and the atmosphere great. The only constructive criticism is that the music was a little louder than normal making conversation a little... More

We returned to the brasserie after last going to pennyhill a few months back. The new look is great, it's modern and the whole layout really suits. Love the new seats and interactive cooking experience. I had the beef tartar to start and it was impeccable, the mustard style dressing was subtle and allowed the beef to show its dominance.... New layout and decor, and completely revamped menu. Went with the £35 set menu and was not disappointed. Food delicious and beautifully presented. Nice views of the pool area from a window table. Service a little over attentive and intrusive at times for my liking. On the whole though, very pleasant.

Yet again we visited for Sunday lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday, with our children and grandchildren. Great atmosphere with a three piece jazz group visiting each table and playing requests, which just added to the atmosphere and the whole experience. The buffet is marvellous, and the staff could not be more helpful or understanding. It was the perfect lunch... More

Over the years I have eaten in this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The food is very good quality but not too complicated or fussy, appealing to most people. The lunch buffet is a favourite of mine and the desserts are a definite must.

2x 10 course tasting menus in as many days was a little overwhelming so we opted for the Brasserie on our 2nd night at the wonderful hotel. We weren't disappointed and all the courses we had we what you would expect from this kind of hotel. I can't remember the girls name but she was an amazing waitress and informed... More

I've been a few times for Sunday lunch and it's lovely as are the jazz trio that play but I'm reviewing the brasserie evening menu this time. 8 of us for a birthday dinner. We had great cocktails in the bar beforehand. Service was a bit hit and miss but yum cocktails. The food in the restaurant was really good... More
