We have been going to the Burnt Gate for several years now & always had a good meal. We have been with a group of friends, family occasions, with young children & as a couple - they cater well for everyone! We initially went as my daughter requires gluten free food as she is Coeliac. They cater brilliantly for her... More

Just returned from a very enjoyable Sunday lunch at The Burnt Gate. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food delicious. My wife particularly enjoyed the short ribbed beef. Being vegetarian, I was very impressed not only with the vegetarian selection but also the fact that vegans and gluten free diets were well catered for. It's always nice not... More

After a hard day at work, and with the wife away, I decided that dinner was going to be prepared by someone else. As we have recently moved into Anslow, this was the perfect excuse to try out the local food pub, The Burnt Gate. Quick phone call booked the table, and I rounded up my son and daughter and... More

Great evening spent at The Burnt Gate tonight. Friendly and professional service from the moment we walked in, Beth and the rest of the waiting staff made us feel very welcome. Food was absolutely superb, particular the side of beef which was cooked to perfection. Thank you for a brilliant night.

Twice we have eaten here as a small family 6 and 7 of us, (adults and teenagers). Excellent prompt service, nice hot meals, steaks that melt in your mouth, (mine, both times, medium rare). Friendly helpful staff, all with happy attitudes towards serving the customers................% stars...........

Never have I even been so shocked at the presentation of the food, it all just looked carelessly slopped onto a plate. Also, the food was cold and we mentioned it to the waitress who wasn't very helpful. I wouldn't consider going back.
