Large, well situated pub/restaurant with some hotel rooms. Good for large groups with a function room. Good for families with an adventure play area with lots of space. The quality of the food is hit-and-miss, but never exceptional.

Excellent lunch - the roast lamb was tender and not overdone. The cheddar cheese cabbage vegetable was very tasty. Friendly service.

We use this venue to host the annual agm with the carvery thrown in for good measure. The food is good and plentiful, the staff are never overwhelmed despite it becoming busy at times. We return year after year so they're doing something right!
