We visited here for our first time and I give a thumbs up. Went there for late lunch/early dinner. Service is good, food pretty tasty and decent portions for the price. Fairly diverse menu, BUT don't expect to be able to talk with members of your party. Very loud, but everyone seemed to be having a good time. That's the... More

In addition to a full bar, Ryan's has a great menu and features specials daily. We have eaten there many times and will do so many more. The interior decor is that of an Irish pub and features some beautiful woodwork. I think this is Hamilton's best local restaurant.

We have often visited Ryan's Tavern. The atmosphere is great, dark wood, tall booths and a large old fashion bar with a fireplace on the far wall. The food is decent. I love the hot brown and shepherd's pie. The prices are good and service friendly.

We had a very small wedding rehearsal dinner - 10 total. We booked the back corner of Ryans a couple of months in advance. When we arrived, we were surprised to find out that it was Witches Night Out in Hamilton. The servers were dressed as witches and warlocks and they had a special menu for the event. This made... I had dinner here with two fellow businessmen. The menu was standard pub fare. I opted for tavern salad and soup. There was nothing special about the food and the service was mediocre. .

Been here 3 times - Tried the Shepherd's Pie, Fish n chips, and a sandwich. Skip Ryan's and head to West Chester to the Dinglehouse - better food and outdoor area. Now I only go when friends go since it's close to Municipal Brewworks...

My husband and I have tried this place more than once and just do not care for it. Menu needs more selection. Food just okay. Service could be better. We have been disappointed every time. Probably will not return.

I have been to Ryan's many times. I stopped there for a late lunch or early dinner this week. I ordered the meatloaf. a dish I have had there many times. I was surprised that the serving was about half of what it has been in the past. I also think that the recipe has been drastically altered. I was... More

Food average, atmosphere GREAT. Beautiful Irish pub with lovely decor located in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Menu selection is disappointing. Wish they had better food. Service slow on our week night visit, but we didn't mind as we were out with friends for conversation. Waitress was unacquainted with beer choices and was unable to make good recommendations....resulting in my... More
