I had a breakfast that was superb with amazing sausages and bacon cooked fresh to my rather fussy specification. Children well catered for. Didn't have... More

Had a lovely cream tea here with my partner sitting in the garden which was a real sun trap and very relaxing. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely selection of jams and chutneys also available to purchase and take home. Will be back next time when in Porlock.

Lovely home made cakes and coffee selection from the local village roasting house. Well worth the repeat visits.

We were staying a Pool Bridge campsite, which is lovely (watch out for midges though) and separated from the town by a big old hill. Having made the trek into Porlock we decided on the Whortleberry courtyard as a nice place for us (18 people plus dogs) to rest and recuperate. The food was simple and delicious, with a good... Went for afternoon tea today. Excellent choice of tea and delicious scones. Staff very friendly and obliging. Also do breakfast and lunches but didn't try those but certainly will in the future.

Nice, friendly, homely tea room. Great scones and clotted cream and other delicious snacks. A good choice for a quick bite.

I am so glad I found this gem of a Cafe for my lunch stop on a long walk! When I saw the scones that had arrived on the table next to me on the lovely little courtyard garden terrace, I was sold and had to have cream tea instead of a soup:) The scones tasted great, lovely size and... More

really helpful friendly owners offering a good choice - the cheese crumpets were excellent. Dog freindly and the owners totally spoilt our Bedlington. Recommended

One of the warmest and kindest receptions we have had, even with our 4 badly behaved children! Would thoroughly recommend.
