I always have to visit the Whortleberry when in Exmoor. The owner is very friendly, good with children and dogs! And I just love the cheese scones.

The room is a detached studio which is spacious and very light and airy. A good shower with... More

Breakfast 2 people 1 dog! Great breakfast, nice simple full English cooked well with no grease! And the dog liked their breakfast biscuit! Was open for 0900 on the Sunday morning when everything else was still closed! Will be going again!

Popped into Porlock on a horrible rainy day and into this place mainly because of the good reviews we saw about it. Well I have to say, it didn't look like very much from the outside but it was perfect. Great hosts, very friendly, food was delicious.served quickly and plenty of it. I had a cooked breakfast and it was... More

What a fabulously welcoming place! We were looking at the window, checking if dogs were allowed, when one of the customers opened the door and told us to come in, telling us that they loved dogs there. He was certainly right. They made a real fuss of our dog, bringing him dog biscuits, which he unfortunately turned his nose up... More
