Have visited here several times recently. Always a very warm welcome for both us and our dog, he always gets a biscuit! Very good and reasonably priced food in pretty surroundings, a typical tea shop setting. We had a cream tea and toasted tea cakes, both generous and very good.

Sat in lovely courtyard. They couldn't have been more accommodating of the children's requests and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit and the cheese scones!

We went to the tea rooms today and were greeted by a cracking gentleman who was very welcoming, accepted our mental three children and bonkers dog with open arms! We sat outside in the lovely courtyard and enjoyed a very generous and tasty meal for a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. So lucky to have... More

We are on a week's holiday to Porlock and we discovered the tea rooms when walking back to our accommodation at the end of a lovely day, as soon as I saw the mention of cheese scones I started to read the menu and we returned the next day with our boxer, Bruno. There is also a pretty walled garden... More

We stayed in Porlock last weekend to get away and ate breakfast every morning as well as cream teas. The husband and wife team were extremely welcoming and they welcome dogs too Breakfast was great but the afternoon tea with scones cream and whortleberry jam was truly awesome

What a gorgeous find - looking for somewhere to have breakfast, this was the first place we stumbled across after parking in the car park. I can highly recommend the scones and whortleberry jam! You won't be disappointed, and service with a real smile too.

After a good 12 mile walk, my wife and I decided we needed something tasty to eat. We fancied something cooked, so we opted for a burger and chips and a pot of tea. When the food arrived, we were both very pleased with the homemade burger and quality chips. The portion was generous and excellent value. Steve and Sue... More

Love this place and love the jam. A nice relaxing place with good customer service. We had the cream teas and enjoyed it very much. I always take some home too. Well worth a visit.
