We had a fantastic meal. It’s a small place so booking is essential. There are only a few dishes on the menu which were delicious. It’s worth having the homemade ice cream dessert, delicious! If you’re looking for traditional Thai food then I highly recommend...Thai Kitchen!More
Excellent, authentic Thai restaurant with superb front of house with James. A great place for a fresh and zesty Thai meal - don’t forget to book. Very affordable and the option to bring your own alcohol if you wish. A must visit.
So glad I listened to all the reviews. The food was absolutely outstanding. And even better we’re told all about what we were eating. It was a really stunning lunchtime dining experience and would definitely return. It was all sensational but wow that ice cream...was great I’d buy it in tubs to take home!More
My wife and I went to the Thai kitchen for an evening meal on the strength of previous Tripadvisor reviews. We were not to be disappointed. The restaurant is small with only 22 covers and it was fully booked when we went on a Saturday night....The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team with the husband at the front of house , and the wife cooking.
I think I can say without doubt that it was probably the best Thai food I have tasted which includes three holidays in Thailand. We started with Saku Sai Moo , a Thai tapioca dumpling filled with pork mince. It had a lovely balance of sweetness from the meat with a savouriness from corriander and garlic. I had the Gai Chom Suan , a grilled chicken salad with a beautifully balanced dressing of fresh lime and chilli.
For main course we had a Pad Thai with chicken cooked perfectly and Khao Moo Daeng , a jasmine rice dish with sliced pork fillet and a sweet and sour tamarind and peanut sauce.
The portions were of a good size and very reasonably priced.
This restaurant does not have a licquor licence so bring your own and there will be a small corkage charge.
I would certainly recommend this restaurant to those visiting Frome.Booking is essential especially at the weekend.
We will be coming back when we return to Frome.More
