We really enjoyed our first visit here but when we returned again this year we were very disappointed. I ordered a cottage pie. It was awful, tasted like it had been cooked in something like Worcestershire sauce and had goodness knows what in with it. It was so foul I was unable to swallow even a mouthful. I did ask... More

I had a very tasty lunch last Friday whilst visiting Dulverton on my own. The staff were utterly charming and very accommodating and the food was delicious. To top it all, the setting was delightful in the pretty garden, where I sat first in the sun and then the shade when it became too hot. I shall definitely be back!

We simply called in for a late morning coffee with our dog, so went out into the garden. Wow, didn't realise it had such a large garden. Well maintained, lovely setting. Good service. Didn't eat anything, but good coffee, presented in a coffee pot rather than just cups, so it stayed hot longer.

We visited the Copper Kettle last Sunday for afternoon tea. On a Sunday it opens between 2-5pm. There were 5 of us and we all had tea or coffee together with a selection of beautiful home made cakes which were very reasonably priced. We sat in the beautifully kept garden at the rear of the shop and was served by... More

We visited Dulverton for a hen weekend and I popped into the Copper Kettle on the Friday to see if we could come in on Sunday for some cream teas. Not only did the owner remember a conversation I had on the phone with her a month or so prior but she also let us come in on the Sunday... More

My wife and I called in at the Copper Kettle for a cream tea. My wife's family is from Cornwall and consequently believes she is something of an authority when it comes to a good cream tea. After consuming a Copper Kettle cream tea we both agreed that it deserved a five star rating. Fresh scones and lashings of butter,... More

Beautiful large garden area, and very clean.the grass was so tidy we thought it was false. Staff very attentive...mother and daughter served us. Ordered 4 cream teas today and were not disappointed, lovely homemade scones, jam and lovely crockery. The prices were very good, not expensive. We did not have a lunch here, but looking around at others they looked... More

Pleasant cafe indoors and lovely garden at the back where dogs are welcome. Quiche tasty and obviously not supermarket-bought and ploughmans had enough for three. Bread could have been a bit more interesting. Service very quick and pleasant, happy to recommend.
