lively café bar with great views and great food and drinks. A little bit on the expensive side but the environment makes up for this

I went to lunch here with friends who are regulars and I know why. The restaurant itself is situated right across the road from the sea and close to the pier. The food was very good and there are daily specials. Will definitely go again when in Somerset.

I visited Tiffin for a light lunch after a long walk. It has a great ambience and a good selection of lunches. The staff are very friendly and even on a busy lunch time had time to chat a little. The cakes are delicious and the views over the channel add to the whole experience ...

Gorgeous lunch, crab salad was Lovely even though I'm not a huge fan of sweet salads. The tea menu is fantastic and the naughty cake corner is just yummy. I had a lovely gluten free cake with a gorgeous vanilla tea. Lovely setting and scenery. Maybe worth booking though as was very busy!! I'll be honest I did think it... More

Had high tea here with my best friend! Sandwiches were delicious with a variety of fillings, including salmon and crab. Petit fours were a little disappointing as were so small and no 2 the same so had to cut each in half so small taste of each was all... The scones were amazing!!!! Possibly some of the best I've ever... More

Wow! Okay, so the setting is amazing (see my separate review of the pier) but the food and the service were excellent. The crab salad is not inexpensive (£13) but a lovely whole dressed crab came with oodles of lovely breads and a great fresh salad with some twists. Treat yourself to something here on a sunny day and I... More

My fiance, his mother and I came here for lunch one Saturday. It's extremely popular so getting there early or booking is probably advised. We all had the sandwich platter which was delicious. All drinks come with a tiny slice of tiffin, which is lovely. Although a bigger slice would be lovely as it's so yum!

My husband and I visited at lunch today. It was very busy being a nice day, but we managed to get a seat outdoors. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I ordered a warm egg mayo sandwich after vainly searching the menu for something resembling a basic sarnie(which is all I really wanted), but apart from sausage or fish finger fillings,... More

Our family of five visited Tiffin for lunch. Whilst the food ordered by four of us was average to good, the raspberry ripple cake ordered by one of us was very dry and insipid. Service was lacklustre and slow, with two of the three waitresses being disinterested and not very communicative. The third waitress was charming, but sadly her efforts... More
