Went for a relaxing lunch. The menu is pretty good lots of choices. The day we went was not particularly busy but we waited at least 35 40 minutes for pretty basic lunch orders. Seafood risotto was good. Caesar salad a little plain but ok. The Mexican dish was huge for a lunch order - burrito I think. Enough for... More

This a a open plan pub that has obviously been well modernised. Excellent beers and wine. The menu is extensive and has a range of interesting choices. When we visited on the specials board were Paella and 18 oz Rib of beef on the bone! I chose an excellent garlic chicken and smoked bacon salad served in a crispy tortilla... More

We have been using the Queens Head for a number of years and it has been steadily getting worse and worse to the point that we won't bother to go back. They have a small menu of poorly executed food where the emphasis seems to be on cheap and easy. One of the dinners I was with when we visited... More

Visited Queens today after a lovely walk along the canal. We sat outside with our dog and enjoyed a great meal. The food was served hot and quickly. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I enjoyed the pasta and mussles. Would highly recommend the Queens and they are dog friendly too!

Had lunch with my partner's family on Father's Day. Had a mix of dishes such as burgers, Sunday lunches and fish. Had plenty of time to make our choice, our order taken, it took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive at our table. Everything looked good, everyone cleared their plates and had no complaints. I would have liked... More

We've been coming for a few years now and it always lives up to expectations. We came for a family member's 60th birthday and everyone in the group commented how tasty everything was. The pub is situated near the canal and has great scenery to accompany your meal. The only reason why 4/5 stars is the price. Most meals warrant... More

Gluten free food is wonderful. Such care taken by staff to insure no contamination of foods. Nothing to much trouble for the staff who are polite and curtious. Love the place
