Wonderful little pub with a big atmosphere. Owners always make you feel welcome and a brilliant place to pop into after walking the dog around the quaint little town. Always worth a visit!

This pub is next door to Twenty Twenty Gallery so if you are visiting us then this is a good place to have a pint and a plate of egg and chips. It is not a gastro pub or anything remotely trendy, what you see is what you get. Dogs are welcomed and sometimes given treats!

We visited the George and Dragon with friends and several dogs (welcome in the bar) after a lovely walk on Wenlock Edge over the Christmas break. Great pub, warm and friendly atmosphere, and the best fidget pie for miles! Definitely worth a visit.

Lots more cons than pros for me. Quaint little pub, pleasant serving staff, food hot and arrived quickly. Several drinks & menu items unavailable despite our early arrival. Miniscule pate starter accompanied by limp salad & thin slice of "value"- type toasted bread. Roast beef dinner amounted to a single slice of tough meat, 2 roast pots, tiny chewy yorkshire... More

A super, traditional pub, unspoilt with plenty of character, a great atmosphere and super beer that went down a treat after a nice after lunch walk.

So glad we did , everyone made us and our puppy welcome. We had an excellent Brandy and a very nice coffee for me... More

Go on give it a go you won't regret... More

Very old, interesting Pub. Refreshing to feel that we were entering a time warp and not a plastic mock up.. Dogs are allowed in the Bar. We had previously booked and were shown straight into the Restaurant area - fortunately, we had this to ourselves for most of the meal as it was very small and would have been claustrophobic... After a busy day at The Edge nearby we had a very enjoyable lunch here. Very low ceilings, nice atmosphere, oldy worldy feel. Soup and sandwich very nice, would go again.
