We have eaten at this pub a number of times in the past, but this was our first time since Covid. Their security arrangements are very effective but unobtrusive. As always, the food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. We both had the...fish pie which we agreed was one of the best ever. It’s a lovely old pub with a good atmosphere. Well worth a visit!More

Lovely little pub with a gorgeous pub garden, the staff are really friendly too. The food was quite average, not a fan of the vegetarian nut roast. Also, the food and drinks are fairly expensive for what you get.

We had a good hearty meal, limited menu choice perhaps due to COVID but hbd burger and steaks were very tasty. Nice outdoor seating area.

Visited on a Thursday evening for dinner and drinks. Lovely food and good service. Social distancing well managed which made us feel safe. Would happily go back

Really lovely restaurant. Great food, wonderful staff and good service - the waitress apologised for the slow service but we didn’t even notice. Really enjoyed our evening.

Greeted with a warm welcome and drinks orders taken before shown to our table. Staff were lovely and friendly, they understood the menu and offered informed suggestions. Thanks for a great evening!

The Six Bells Sunday lunch may be slightly more expensive than other local venues, but it is by far the best in Thame and surrounding area. Food is always great; staff are friendly and service good. Chef hasn’t let me down yet!! He’s obviously the...best in town! And I must add that I’ve tried every Sunday lunch locally! Keep it up.More

Visited the place on Saturday evening & I had the kedgeree. It was very bland and consisted of a bowl of rice with a few pieces of overcooked smoked haddock, sultanas, a poached egg & some useless greenery. The manager came over to apologise &...informed that it should have more curry flavour. He also said that they were taking it off the menu. So then, I obviously I’m not the only person to have complained about this dish...so why was it still on the menu? They expect their customers to pay £14 for a product they know is extremely sub-standard & hope to get away with it!! I will NOT be returning to the disappointing Six Bells.More

Usefully open for food on Boxing Day evening though with a short menu. We had a goid table for 6 just off the bar in this much converted but still interesting local pub. Service was swift! Overcome by poultry we all had the beef burgers...and they were really good and tasty ... and not overwhelming. A very enjoyable evening not least with the good beers! And good value.More

Unfortunately not and no disabled toilet either. My Sister uses a wheelchair and doesn’t consider it suitable for her.
