Visited today for a carvery. Absolutely awful. Lumpy mash. Roast potatoes so hard you couldn't cut them. Flat and under cooked Yorkshire. Veg that looked and tasted like yesterday's leftovers. went to a wedding on 6th August had a 3 course meal it was absolutly fantastic all the food that was supossed to be hot was Hot and in the evening they had a hot and cold buffet it was one of the best meals and buffets i have ever had.Well done to the Landlord and his kitchen staff

budget eatery, low quality food, Carvery is cheap, cakes look great but are dry. Fish and chips, fish is huge but also grey and uncooked

I only went in for a drink and over heard a member of staff telling a paying customer which had a meal and found a hair in it not to complain but don't come here again I was totally discussed with his comments

Went for fathers day (19/06/16) worst carvery I've ever had!!! roast potatoes wasn't cooked, all the cauliflower was the size of tennis balls and was very hard, broccoli was overdone and the Peas were inedible, mash potatoes were very lumpy, had to wait for Yorkshire pudding, couldn't help yourself to stuffing or Yorkshire puddings was only given a tiny amount...
