Can't fault the takeaway but not much atmosphere if sitting in because it's so quiet. Order regularly but sometimes takes a bit longer than estimated for food to be ready to collect.

Firstly i need to mention the view through the window - if you want attract customers into your restaurant then you need to tidy up your space so it doesn't resemble a dumping ground. Anyway , onto the eating experience! The ambience wasn't great with over bright lighting but the place was nice and clean. The menu was promising with... More

Obviously we must be spoilt by coming from Leeds and having authentic Indian food at our disposal. This meal gas to be one of the worst Indians we have had. The mango chutney was watery, the naan bread was small and disappointing with little favour. The lamb rogan josh was like onion stew, with the onion still raw, watery, little... More

Very nice quality curry well cooked and plentiful. Lots of chefs specials worth a try along with favourites.

Visited over the August bank holiday with the other half. Firstly food was quite good although starter was very small. Main meals were tasty and good sized portion. They had Cobra and Tiger beer in 660ml bottles. We have had a takeaway from here before but never had a restuarant meal here until now. I got the feeling that the... More

First impressions were that there were very few people dining here and it was high season. They offered us poppadums which were as you would expect. My husband's Jalfrezi was good but my Chicken Tikka was very average. We also had a Naan each and Aloo Gobi, Service was pleasant.

We had a take away meal from Spice Village while staying in the area. The food was very good and the portions were plentiful. The restaurant looked really nice and was busy on Sunday evening which, to me, is always a good indicator of the quality.

We've been to Wooler on numerous occasions and have always been wanting to give this place a go but haven't had the chance. This on our part has been an error as the food is very good, the starters were delicious and curries good, the breads were freshly made and staff very attentive all in all very good

Thank Colin P

New to Wooler. Trading for just over a year. Friendly staff and excellent cuisine make it a very good place to eat. Best one I've been for years!
