We enjoyed a lovely meal (chicken with porcine mushroom followed by fabulous ice cream. Very nice atmosphere in restaurant. Access is a bit weird down a side alley of a pub and past their three big dumpster bins....not the best approach/exit to a restaurant. But food/atmosphere more than compensated.

Wonderful food, charming staff, lovely ambience, stayed in Wooler for two nights and ate here both nights, will definitely eat here again if staying in the area, reasonably priced too!

We visited twice whilst on holiday in Wooler recently. The first visit had been booked well before as a birthday treat for me. I had the Calamari to start, which could have served as a main course so generous were the portions. It was delicious. I ordered a T-bone with Garlic butter for my mains. When it arrived at the... Milan is tucked away behind the main street in Wooler, and is a really nice surprise. We hadn't booked thinking that a Monday evening wouldn't be busy, but we were wrong. It was full but the very helpful manageress found us a table after a short wait. The food is delicious and very nicely presented. My husband's starter of goats... More

Recommended by the B&B we stayed in and they booked it for us which was just as well as it is obviously very popular. The food was good. I had an Insalata Caprese then a 4 meat pizza and my husband a delicious avocado, crab and prawn the Linguine Sicciato which was good but very hot! Washed down with an... More

Although a very busy restaurant, pre book, the staff are very helpful and attentive. The only let down was the glass of bubbly which wasn't to my taste. I had a scrummy first course which contained figs, honey, maybe a tad much, feta cheese and leaves. My husband enjoyed fried cheese with puree followed by a very good lasagne. My... More

Very friendly and popular place . Food excellent with good selection of dishes. Enjoyed the sixties music which apparently changes to Italian some evenings!
