Wow...loved this little tea room. Spotless, fantastic friendly service and prices, a real little gem discovered whilst exploring around a hidden corner of the town centre. Staff were fabulous, food was delicious and although I didn't have it, the afternoon tea ordered by the next table looked wonderful so next time I visit I will order that!! The food arrived... More

Have been before however this was first visit for breakfast, thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast baton, service was great and seeing the familiarity of other customers with the staff there is obviously a lot of repeat visitors. A most enjoyable visit and most definitely will return.

Lovely food, friendly welcome, good cup of tea, and great atmosphere (and reasonable prices too) They also do a lovely afternoon tea with your choice of sandwich and cakes. Everything you want from a tea rooms and more, this place has much to recommend it

Arrived at 11.45 am to a very warm welcome. Would definitely recommend their chicken and ham pie served with salad and crisps. The service was excellent and the food arrived within ten minutes of ordering.

This was our 1st visit to The Chantry Tea Room and we will definitely be going back. Small, probably a dozen tables, nicely decorated and very homely. Staff were courteous and extremely efficient, tables were clean and plenty room between the tables, not bumping into each other. Visited 12:00-13:00 lunch time and the place was busy. We had tea for... More

Stopped for a quick lunch today. This is fast becoming our favourite cafe in Morpeth. I had a lovely fresh egg mayo sandwich and my friend had a tuna baked potato. Staff were attentive and friendly. Very nice atmosphere and good fresh food.

My daughter & I visited here while in Morpeth. A very cosy little tea room which does excellent sandwiches. I had cheese savoury and my daughter had club sandwich, both of which were delicious. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The cakes looked gorgeous though we resisted the temptation to try them. Would definitely visit again.

Been here a few times, whenever in Morpeth. (My 1st choice of eating places) Have been lucky where it has not been too busy. Staff down to earth and friendly. Good food and good prices.

Managed to find a table in this small and very busy tea room. The staff are friendly and obliging and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. Obviously a popular place and deservedly so.
