We have visited the treehouse on a number of occasions and had an excellent time on each visit. However visited on 23rd and was bitterly disappointed. We were 30 minutes early as we were having pre dinner drinks at the potting shed. There was only...More

Our visit started in the potting shed for drinks followed by dinner in the different surroundings of the treetops. Not to be missed but early booking essential. Food and service very good and ideal if celebrating a special occasion. Perhaps too anxious to refill our...More

Enjoyed my visit setting and staff 5 out of 5. Location 5 out of five. Quality of food high but price of food and wine high. Check menu before you go. For a special occasion it's excellent.....

Visited for the first time whilst staying in Alnwick. Dining with a difference it certainly is. There is a small area for having a pre meal drink and choosing your food which is a nice touch. We were shown to our table and did not...More

Really unusual restaurant and it does look great. We had lunch here midweek - food choice was nice but not really cheap. The only thing which let it down was the very very slow service as think we waited a good 30 mins between getting...More

Description
The Treehouse is one of the most magical and unique restaurants to be found anywhere in the world. It’s high up in the treetops, with a roaring log fire in the centre of the room and trees growing through the floor. Most importantly, the locally-inspired food is delicious. Always featuring local fish and seafood, meats from Northumberland’s farmlands and other regional specialities, the Treehouse Restaurant menus highlight local quality, taste and change throughout the seasons. There’s a great wine list, a good range of beers and regular live music. For a family dining experience that you’ll all enjoy, a great night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two, there’s nowhere quite like it. We always recommend booking ahead for lunch or dinner.
