Four of us went for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. Sometimes the food does not live up to the expectations of the place but not here. The menu may be limited but the choices are exceptional, so different to your usual Sunday lunch menu....More

We had wanted to eat at The Treehouse restaurant on a previous visit to Alnwick Garden - but we hadn't booked and so were disappointed. No disappointments this time! The food was really delicious, imaginatively cooked and beautifully presented. The staff couldn't have been more...More

Our friends got married at Alnwick treehouse and it was one of the most beautiful, unusual venues I have ever seen. The fairy lights, walkways, and little nooks where you can grab a seat and enjoy the view through the trees all comes together to...More

I booked a table for my boyfriends 30th for lunch after being recommended by a friend. We arrived on a wet, miserable July afternoon (classic british summertime!) to a magical place that I will happily return. We were given a table in the corner which...More

The audacity of building such a fabulous creatiion among the trees deserves all the recognition it gets. It is hard to imagine just how it all blends together to create a magical experience. make sure you book in advance - to avoid disappointment

Whilst visiting Alnwick Castle and Garden we went to the Treehouse for a coffee and sat outside on rustic benches. The cakes looked good too!

The setting is magical - go over a small bridge lit by fairy lights to the treehouse. Pre dinner drinks in the potting shed bar and look at the menu and order. Into the restaurant and past the roaring fire to a table at the...More

There is a bar section in a small tree house opposite the restaurant. There is also an outdoor seating area near the entrance to the the restaurant where you can sit and have drinks when it's sunny.

Description
The Treehouse is one of the most magical and unique restaurants to be found anywhere in the world. It’s high up in the treetops, with a roaring log fire in the centre of the room and trees growing through the floor. Most importantly, the locally-inspired food is delicious. Always featuring local fish and seafood, meats from Northumberland’s farmlands and other regional specialities, the Treehouse Restaurant menus highlight local quality, taste and change throughout the seasons. There’s a great wine list, a good range of beers and regular live music. For a family dining experience that you’ll all enjoy, a great night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two, there’s nowhere quite like it. We always recommend booking ahead for lunch or dinner.
