Nice enough fish and chips but rather greasy and quite expensive if I'm being honest. Wouldn't be in a rush to return soon

Found this restaurant on out second night in Alnwick and went back the following evening. Small cosy room upstairs with good menu at good prices. We tried the Lamb Shank on first evening and Duck on the second. Both meals were delicious. Friends staff, great food, you need to book. Highly recommended.

Deb was the maître d'. I am surmising that she and her husband (who is also one of the chefs) own the establishment. This is not 4 star luxury dining, it is down to earth honest cooking done with panache, served with sincere and honest care from staff who want you to enjoy the whole experience while they discretely and... We were in Alnick staying at a nearby B&B and wandered down to the town in the evening. We came across this little restaurant tucked away, and just managed to get a table in the downstairs area. The place had a great atmosphere, the staff were very pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious, good choice of wine and lovely... More

Very average food, prices above average, portions small with way too much tired uninspired salad on the plate. Ambience ok but as others have said, it's more a cafe than a restaurant. Disappointing as we went based on the overall scores on TripAdvisor.

Great restaurant! We ate here last night and found Lilburn's to serve beautiful food with a great ambience and fantastic staff too. Would highly recommend to others as many have recommended to us!

We found this restaurant by accident while having an evening stroll from our hotel. The food was lovely, the service friendly and its got a good atmosphere.

Found this little bistro on a recent visit to Alnwick and we were really pleased we did. Looks really small from the outside, but there are tables upstairs. The food is traditional, fresh and well cooked and the service is great. Would go again.

Great food in a comfy setting. Excellent service and good value. The only slight downside is that it was a little stuffy - still it was a warm day so I guess you can't have everything!

First and foremost, I'd like to say that the food here is great. Sadly, we were there for well over 20 minutes before being served. Another 30 minutes yielded the starter, and 20 minutes after that we had our main course. The Risotto was great though, and the Tagliatelle was also great.

Thank Adam B
