Lovely surroundings. Very friendly staff. The food was obviously homemade and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend the experience.

Lovely toasties, shame no omelettes anymore, they were fab. Run by volunteers. Vera Lynn - we'll meet again on repeat, but will forgive them that. Real tea in china cups - lovely.

1940s theme is well done with decor, furniture and music. It offers 40 different teas, but our coffees were not good, americano was weak and latte thin with poor taste. Staff seemed a bit loud.

Lovely quiet 1940s style cafe - like walking into your nans 'best' room. Staff are lovely, food is great and reasonable priced and you get to listen to the fab pianist if he is around. A large selection of teas too! ☕

The memories are of war time England. The furniture and china are reminiscent of my childhood. This cafe is run by SERVE and the food and drink was very reasonably priced

Great little find, clean, good prices, oodles of tea choices, friendly and efficient service. Love the theme, piano, old news papers and photos of old Rushden.
