Once again my hubby and I succumbed to this delight...homemade lemon meringue pie-fresh from the oven. We discovered the tearoom two years ago when looking to buy a new home locally. The tearoom is off the High street, down the Garthway Arcade so needs to be looked for. The food is well prepared , using local ingredients and offers great... More

Nice place to go for lunch or a snack. The paninis and toasted teacakes are tasty. Worth a visit! (Located just off the high street down the arcade where Grovers is).

What a great place for a light snack, lunch, breakfast or afternoon tea. They have a menu and specials board. Very good home cooked food. The staff are excellent, very friendly and good at their job.-- The food is well prepared and very good portions. All very tasty and such good value.

Love the staff, always friendly and fun. The food is an old fashioned menu geared to the older end in my opinion, love the scones, cakes and usually have poached eggs when I go in which are always perfectly cooked. Nice atmosphere

I've tried a few breakfasts in this town but this one stands out as the best. I could tell the ingredients were high quality and prepared very well. Decor is tradition Yorkshire tea room which made me feel at home.

We visited this tearoom on the morning. Had a delicious scone and pot of tea. Returned later for lunch, baked jacket potato with cheese and salad. Absolutely lovely and prices are reasonable too. Really worth a visit.

All my other half wanted for lunch was toast. So after the good quality of food and service we received on Saturday we decided to call in again. Once again he was able to have toast... The toast was chunky, he had a slice of white and whole meal with a nice slab of butter....Whilst I had the tuna and... More
