A nice small cafe overlooking the river in a peaceful location. The ice cream is amazing and so are the bacon buttys.

Great bacon butties. Coffee comes with a biscuit always a good thing. Dogs are welcome. Outside space is plentiful.

I have recently started to stop her for a hot drink with my family or friends .This time on a bit more chilly day I fancied a snack, went for something i had never tried before A Yorkshire Rascal, It was... The cafe is now known as "The Black Mulberry" but Rascals Ice Cream kiosk is still open and selling great ice cream. We can recommend the caramel fudge, it's gorgeous.

We visited this café over the Easter weekend and it was a huge disappointment. Very limited menu. We ended up with scampi and chips which came straight out of Iceland's freezers and was around £7 per head. Ordered an orange juice and literally had the bottle dumped on the table in front of me. Had to ask for a glass... More

We are very sad to see this review as Rascals strive to serve good quality food with friendly service. The cafe is currently undergoing several alterations as it changed ownership late last year. In that time the majority of bought in items have been swapped for fresh alternatives, however, some of the best sellers remain as we have a strong... More

Visited Rascals again today and sat outside in the sunshine! They serve the best Italian latte I have ever tasted and the wow factor is that it is always hot. Husband always has a hot chocolate and he says it's the best he has tasted. We love their bacon rolls, fresh bread rolls and plenty of bacon that is very... More

Description
Located on Waterside overlooking the River Nidd, Rascals offers a wide range of home cooked snacks, cakes and meals using locally sourced produce and is open daily throughout the year. It is well laid out with tables both inside and on the terrace overlooking the river. They serve a wide range of high quality ice cream and their coffee is is quite superb, many locals say that it is the best in the area. Their prices are sensible and it's well worth a visit.
