Plenty of seats upstairs and a very good menu. You order and pay at the counter.
Lots of cakes at the counter including scones and warm puddings
You can have just a sandwich or soup, jacket potatoes and a roast dinner.

We are staying at the local youth hostel and were recommended this restaurant. We all had different meals. The food was home made, tasty and plentiful. Would highly recommend this hidden gem for meals with friends and family.
We have only sampled the breakfasts during our visits which are very good. Great choice of foods, cooked while you wait and served up by lovely smiling ladies.

I visited this wonderful restaurant with my half caste old lady and my dear friend Olav(who is not the marrying kind of guy).
Nothing would do but to have a typical English breakfast. Up the stairs we went and ordered the full breakfast.
