Unplanned visit

We were staying in a local caravan site but wanted a restaurant evening. The food was excellent, staff and service good and reasonably priced.

Went to San Marco in Filey first but couldn't get a table for an hour so we headed to Valentinos instead and thank goodness we did, the meals was superb!! They're was 8 in our party, 4 adults and 4 kids, the waitress squeezed us in and we all had one the best Italian meals ever. Their spaghetti de mare... More

I've been to valentino's a few times now and it never fails to disappoint. The ambience, food and wine is fantastic. The service is not forced, and the staffs personalities shine through. Lynn ( the owner) always takes the time to talk to you even when she is busy! The food is amazing and the atmosphere relaxed. I would highly... More

I've been to Valentino's a few times now and it never fails to disappoint! The atmosphere is relaxed and there is plenty of space between the tables. The service is great, and the staff can't do enough to help you. Lynn (the owner) is friendly and always makes time to talk to you no matter how busy she is. It's... More

We have visited this restaurant on four occasions now and each and every time we have been made to feel so welcome. The food is excellent and the service is second to none.

Not a bad word to say. The staff were lovely, just the right amount of attentiveness without being too much, the place was immaculate and obviously well maintained, the service was efficient and last but by no means least the food was delicious. Between 4 of us we tried pizzas and 2 different pastas - all excellent. If we are... More

Last night of a fantastic week on this brilliant coastline. Headed for the restaurant in brilliant sunshine. Seated at a table with the early evening sun streaming through the windows. My good lady ordered a meat free spaghetti and I splashed out on the filet steak. Well all week trip advisor kept me in order, so money to spare! The... More

I visited over the August bank holiday weekend with my wife and fourteen year old daughter. We booked at 5.30pm on the Saturday and dined at 7.15. We were made very welcome in a very clean and tidy restaurant. The menu could be more extensive but everything we ate we enjoyed. Our Antipasto starter was excellent. We will return.

We were just on our way back home after a memorable 10 day holiday in Scarborough, passing Valentino's we decided to dine early evening on the off chance. After entering the establishment we were greeted and approached by a member of staff who immediately attended to our needs, the restaurant was extremely busy for the time of day.The ambience and... Have visited once before and although the food was good the lady owner treats the restaurant as her own home where children are not welcome. We wanted to sit in a nice part of the restaurant but we're told where we had to sit, next to all the other kids. Shame as with this restaurant having at least 5 major... More
