My sort of well run, traditional hotel style place. Food great with a few surprise items on the menu. Portuguese/Spanish, Italian influence. SERVICE ok. Decor and style a bit dated, fantastic log burner in the winter and brilliant outside seating for the summer.
The owner really went to town to deck the bars and restaurant in a tartan manner.

4 of us had Sunday lunch. Not ab extensive range of choices on menu but perfectly adequate. We enjoyed the experience. Food good (huge portions), Service okay, Ambience alright.
Would recommend for lunch.
