We visited this afternoon for lunch & I'm sure we will be back! Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, clean premises, reasonable price, & above all excellent food. Well done.

We had lunch here, my wife, daughter, granddaughter and I. One of the group was in a wheelchair and a very friendly waitress showed us to a part of the restaurant more suited to our needs, first plus point. Then we asked for food cooked in a manner that our disabled family member could more easily digest, no problem, second... More

Nice atmosphere and friendly service, and very helpful with one of our friends dietary needs. Well prepared and presented food. However, be prepared for large portions as my fish was huge, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next visit.

First time here. Staff friendly and efficient. Dealt well with our food intolerances. My teriyaki scallops were sublime and haddock and chips the best ever! £25 a head for 2 courses including drinks is pretty good value in my book. Portions are quite large though so best be hungry when you go otherwise try the lighter lunch menu. Great!

Took my Australian visitors for a meal, mussels so small and lots of empty shells in the bowl, had to ask for bread, no finger bowl, no dish for empty shells, this was a main course so lots of shells. V.disappointing. My guests were so hungry had to take them elsewhere for something else to eat afterwards. Staff pleasant.

My family and l went to Cleethorpes today and chose fish and chips at lunchtime. The Captains Table was not too busy when we arrived but filled up not long after. The adults all had the special fish and chips which is either haddock or cod served with mushy peas or garden peas and bread and butter. The food was... More

The food was very mediocre and rather expensive for what we were served. Wouldn't visit again. The fish goujon sandwich was mainly batter. Drinks very expensive. However the waiting staff were very nice.
