This cafe looks lovely from the street in a quaint old building with lovely window displays, however once inside its a different story. My family and I were planning to have lunch here but just had a cup of tea instead. The carpets needed replacing...More

Very disappointed, this place looked so nice from the outside. We had a light lunch, food was average, whilst there we needed to use the toilet. They were dirty, damp and there was a damp old towel for customers to dry their hands. Luckily I...More

We popped in for lunch one day to find a very dated seating area. I like old, quaint places to eat but this was just unkept! After ordering lunch my young son needed to go to the toilet so we found the very unusual toilets....More

Should have checked on here first! The other reviews are spot on. The carpet is disgustingly dirty, the toilets were cold, with a soaking wet floor and no hot water. The food, I had Welsh rarebit which was greasy and tasteless, the beef and Stilton...More

The place needs a good clean its tired and grubby. Menus tired and grubby well used and curled corners. Food not what expected and full of oil making it too rich to eat. Left my food cakes uncovered. I was concerned.

I have been visiting 76 for years and it is always welcoming. Coffee is excellent especially when you get one from the freshly made pot. Scones usually excellent too although sometimes a bit lacking in fruit. Bacon and Brie baguettes are excellent as are the...More

I went for a light lunch in November, my first choice to order was sold out, so I ordered a bagel with brie and cranberry. When it arrived it was brie and bacon, so it had to be sent back to be changed... Meanwhile, we...More
