A group of us ate at this pub restaurant last weekend. It was a wonderful place to find having very comfortable decor and seating. There seems to be a lot of activities advertised for the pub and we were spoilt for choice for future visits. We ordered food for 5 people: 2 of us shared the olives, houmous and a... More

Stopped off here for an evening meal on Saturday. Although the dining room was fully booked they managed to squeeze us in as we were dining early. Excellent freshly prepared food, attentive but not fussy service, fair prices and some good beers. Lovely seating area by the river if you just want to enjoy a drink and watch the ducks... More

I have eaten here many times with family and friends and have never been disappointed. The chef is very accommodating of vegetarian choices and the staff always seem happy to be there and very helpful. I also recommended friends to visit... More

We have been here a few time usually early evening and always enjoyed it. Called today at lunch, my husband had the burger a little pricey but he said it was one of the best burgers he has had and worth the price. I had the small steak and onion homemade pie and it was delicious both meals came with... More

Booked a meal for last Saturday for four of us and was very disappointed. One chose fish finger sandwich , which were frozen fish fingers and frozen chips and three of us had the pie which was good but lacked filling and only came with chips or mash!!!!!!! At the price you would have thought there had been a few... More
