Excellent service, great atmosphere , food to die for. Staff are always very pleasant and chatty. Rachel and Stephen should be very proud of what they have achieved over the years. We have visited often over the last seven years and have enjoyed the food every time. Well done once again gang and thank you for your hospitality.

How we wish we had visited this country pub before today! Beautiful rural situation near one of the old stone bridges across the River Ribble. Easily found from Gisburn A59 and just off the A road route to Kendal or along the back lane from Bolton by Bowland. Friendly smile on arival and welcome from Rachael. Just "popping in for... More

After looking round ribble valley holiday park we came here for lunch. We were warmly welcomed by Rachel from behind the bar who showed us to a suitable table with our little westie dog. She brought drinks over for us and gave us plenty of time to look at the extensive menu. The choice was amazing and the starters are... More

Been coming here for years with family and the service and food is always fantastic, you can really tell the chefs take pride in their cooking as they have often been out personally and asked us what we thought or if we liked a certain aspect of the meal. Staff are always polite and willing to help, and you always... More

Enjoyed a pleasant drive up to this lovely pub yesterday and had Sunday lunch. When you enter this place [I nearly wrote 'when you enter The Buck'....but it didn't sound quite right!!] the first thing you get is lots of hello's from the staff. I can't remember the last time that happened. Everything feels and looks lovely and clean here.... More
