Visited the queen vic a few days ago, to find the menu had changed. The reason the menu has changed 'to be more accommodating to veggies' - was the reply.. However, not one meat free option on the menu is also dairy free... every single veg option contained cheese! As all food at this place is pre-prepared (i.e. not homemade/made... More

Popped in for drinks and certainly an easy place to go if visiting Burnley...only thing I would say is compared to Burnley town it quite pricey on drinks. Didn't eat but the food i did see looked good and smelt good....your usual chain style pub grub.

Where do I start.... To call this place a restaurant is a `laugh`. I thought it was an extension to the local kindergarden. A cross between a Borstal & a bear pit. Hordes of unsupervised` brats`with parents totally oblivious to the screaming and crying of their offspring. Food is no better. School dinners are a `gastromomic delight` compared to this... More

I visited The Queen Victoria with my friend and three year old twins. We ordered some food and drinks and say in the play area so they could play In the soft play. I ordered the children's food to arrive with the starters. When the starters arrived, we had ordered the potatoe dippers, which, in the description should be "loaded"... More

Never have I been to a place where the staff have been so disinterested in serving paying customers. Our food did not come out the same time as others on the table, the table was not cleared between meals and puddings forgotten about. AVOID!

Called in for lunch, ordered Tia fish cakes, poor, tasteless, probably warmed in microwave, not crispy like I expected. Pie and chips ordered by my partner , poor, tasteless , never going again

Booked a dinner table for 6.30. Got there at 6.35 and had to wait a few minutes as the table wasn't ready. They are trialling a carvery - tremendous value at £6.95. Turkey and/or beef with as much as you like of all the trimmings, but even at this early time some of he veg was in short supply. Breakfast... More

We had a Saturday evening meal in this restaurant whilst staying in the adjacent Premier Inn. I very much enjoyed my grilled chicken and bacon salad and the profiteroles were delicious. Great value too.
