I have tried this place before and wasn't hugely impressed but i thought I'd give it another try. The service was slow, the food took ages to arrive and it wasn't busy. The pate was lovely but my food was way too rich and sickly. The waiter and waitress were sat eating their own lunches whilst customers had to wait... More

Visited for a lazy Sunday brunch and came away happy! The Fat Giraffe breakfast was well-priced, tasty, and a decent size for the money. The breakfast included both an OJ and bottomless tea/coffee (which I took advantage of!), and the staff were chirpy and friendly. Will definitely return.

my niece came to town for a visit and took my 83yr old mum here for some lunch as since mum came back to Padiham this is her favourite restaurant, mum took the purse out of her handbag to pay but also took her pension purse out which she left on the table, the lady behind the counter ran up... Eight of us had a late afternoon tapas lunch at this little restaurant recently. Although tapas is usually only served in the evening, Karen agreed to sorting it with her chef so that we could dine earlier. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and efficient and went out of their way to ensure our party had a thoroughly... More

We came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Our orders were taken straight away but it took over 20 minutes for our cappuccino and milkshakes to arrive despite there only being 2 other tables occupied. Food took even longer and although the English breakfast was nice it was really overpriced as were the drinks. Lady serving wasn't particularly welcoming either.... More

As a family we go around locally on a a weekend for breakfast and have been here twice recently. Service slow despite being the only people in there. Food average but okay. However, on both occasions members of our group have been overcharged. I flagged it and it was corrected with much talk and deliberation and a second occasion the... More

Visited as was in the area to see Gawthorpe Hall, impressive range of meals available and nice breakfast menu. It's a nice café/ bistro, I recognised the owner from the website who came over to take our order and made us very comfortable. The maple syrup and bacon pancakes were very good as was the fresh butternut squash and tarragon... More

Visited with mum for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We shared a platter and savoured every bite. We had to leave room for dessert having noticed the white chocolate and ginger cheesecake when we went in. Will definitely call again.

Food is freshly made to order and you get a good portion size for your money. Staff are friendly and efficient. They is a good selection of cakes on offer that all looked very tempting. Great value for money!
