We visit the LBJ regularly as we live locally. Great garden for the children and always very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The pods in the garden are brilliant and the smokehouse is a brilliant idea. Can't really fault the pub, the only downside is the food is very pricey so as a family of 4 we don't get... More

After my last scathing review of this place the new management invited us back and apologized for their previous failings. we chose to have normal meals rather than the roasts again and they were lovely. from what I remember I had the sausage and mash and although it's not hard to not do badly it was really quite nice. I... More

Visited here with some friends and family for a Sunday Lunch and an afternoon in the Garden. The service was great. Staff on arrival were friendly and escorted us to our table straight away. The Menu was quite extensive and enough choice to suit everyone. Our table had a variety of dishes. The Beef was delicious and do so was... More

There is a great outside garden for beer drinking and eating. Inside it is the set-up of a commercial pub: nice but not suprising. Food is good, service is oke.

Ok, the pub has a lovely setting and the garden great to sit out in for food but it's so expensive! Hardly gastro and a Thai dish consisting of 4 prawns and a some noodles for £13!!! My family had various choices from the menu but we're also disappointed with the food and the price. May come to the pub... More

The Little Brown Jug is an excellent venue. The bar has a great atmosphere, and the pub has a very pleasant garden. There is an great choice of ales, I had a local brew called LARKINS, what a fab tasting beer. I had food from a buffet, which was presented to a high standard, a good choice of food and... More

A very attractive pub with nice seating in the garden. A bonus is three little cabanas that can be privately hired at a cost of £25 each. They come complete with personal waiter, candles, rugs, heater and flower arrangement. Great for private parties up to 8 seated.

This was our second visit to this establishment after stumbling upon it a couple of weeks ago for a quick pint. This visit was for food and drink of course. I booked the table on line, which I absolutely loved as I find at work, I can't always ring during the lunch time rush. The booking went through quickly and... More

Myself and a group of 10 family & friends dined here last night and I must say the meal was top notch... Having spent the last 3 days eating in various well known restaurants with visitors from home the little brown jug topped them all... the food was mouth watering and brilliantly presented... I personally had a delicious Camembert starter... More

I had the steak and Ale pie. 9/10 only because I like a lot of gravy. Meat was tender and juicy. My husband had the Lamb shoulder. 10/10 Excellent!!!!
