I and my friend found out this place randomly and we could not have more luck. We arrived there quite late for an afternoon tea and the women who was attending us very kindly made it for us without hesitate. For our surprise we ordered an afternoon tea for 2 and it was really tasty and in big quantities. Highly... More

We have been on a week's holiday to Sandwich and decided to call at this little café for a cooked breakfast one morning. The owner was absolutely lovely and so helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We decided to go back a few days later for lunch and chose homemade quiche and salad. Again the meal was delicious and the... More

We called in earlier in the week for some light refreshment and were impressed by the warm friendly atmosphere. Good food at reasonable prices in a small but clean venue. Be warned though that the stairs up to the additional tables and the wash room are very steep and need to be trodden with care. I would recommend a visit... More

Hello Mark, thank you for your review, glad you enjoyed your visit once again, it is a shame about the stairs in the beach hut but there is nothing we can do but what we have done with putting a banister on both sides and grip tape on each step, and worn customers to take care. We hope customers enjoy... More

Came across this lovely cafe by chance and very glad we did. It was rather late in the afternoon and it was still open. Very friendly staff and very good food at very reasonable prices for a town like Sandwich. Will definatley return when next in Sandwich.

Superb eggs florentine with fresh spinach and my BLT was fresh and super tasty! Nice latte and tea too. Can't fault it, and so many food/drink options....including a Sunday roast which we will be back to try! Loads of takeaway goodies available too.

Four of us went for lunch. The food is great. Sure the food is typically English, but it is of great quality and plenty of it. The staff were dressed as "Land girls", like they just stepped out of a WW2 period English movie. In short: Excellent, relaxed, and very friendly.

Visited Saturday for a bite to eat. I asked for a croissant with bacon in the middle which wasn't on the menu but we're happy to put together for me. Lovely staff very friendly and my husband enjoyed his omelette. Had been in the past and had a delicious hot chocolate with cream and will return again no doubt.
