About
Angela’s is a small neighbourhood restaurant with an uncomplicated philosophy. We aim to serve delicious, ethically sourced seafood alongside simple, seasonal vegetable-based dishes. We will always endeavour to be sustainable, both in our ingredients and our everyday practices, and work with the local community to specifically reduce the amount of waste we produce that might otherwise end up in landfill. We have partnered with the wonderful Windmill Community Gardens in Margate to turn our food waste directly into compost – in our own composting machine – to enable them to produce more of our raw and organic ingredients....closing the loop. We will always consider our people and our planet

I don’t give 5xxxxx very often but Angela’s is wow ! The skin on the fish is cooked to perfection and local veg served to provide the perfect compliment. You do need to book this seaside wonder.

We tried Angela's for a Father's Day meal after reading about the restaurant in the FT. We were all in awe of the food, and the front of house were welcoming and homely. All of our starters (scallops, grilled mackerel and cured trout) were extremely...More

We had lunch here the other weekend and thought the food was outstanding. I had the scallops to start followed by the sea trout - everyone loved their entire meal and were impressed by the locally sourced produce and local wines etc. The staff were...More

Have been in there tonight after reading reviews on trip advisor and so disappointed. Fish soup was bland, sardines were cold and turbot was so full of bones it was not edible. Halibut was reasonably okay. Wine so expensive we could not believe it. Front...More

This food was bland and the wine very expensive. It smells horrible inside and has condensation running down the windows which makes it smell of damp. The toilets are outside, which as when visited was raining not ideal. Would not recommend and would not go...More

Having been met on arrival with an apology because there was only one person front of house could put some people off. However, I can only say that the service was faultless, attentive and better than we have had for a long time elsewhere. When...More

What a fantastic place! Small and unassuming but the food is incredible. We had crab tart to start which was one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten, then a wonderful hake in tomato and seafood bisque and then junket with honeycomb. Seriously good food....More
